ONS Publishes May 2026 UK Labour Market Regional Data

Overview

• The Office for National Statistics released figures for regions, local authorities and parliamentary constituencies covering employment, unemployment and economic inactivity.
• The publication includes monthly headline indicator tables (HI00–HI12) that track employment, unemployment, economic inactivity, workers' hours, jobs and the Claimant Count as rolling three-month figures.
• Claimant Count datasets appear at multiple levels, with files for Westminster, Senedd Cymru and Scottish Parliament constituencies, as well as local and unitary authorities.
