Overview
- All 38 political organizations and participating candidates must file detailed disclosures of contributions, income and campaign expenses with ONPE.
- The first report covers March 26, 2025 to March 13, 2026 and is due March 20, with a second report required within 15 working days after El Peruano publishes the resolution concluding the electoral process.
- Failure to report constitutes a very serious infraction punishable by fines of 31–100 UIT (S/170,500–S/550,000) for parties plus loss of direct public financing, and 1–5 UIT (S/5,500–S/27,500) for candidates.
- ONPE will post admissible submissions and its verification findings on the PDF CLARIDAD portal to enable public scrutiny.
- Current trainings with NDI, IEP, Idea Internacional and Meta highlight procedures and documentation, noting a recent legal change that allows donations from Peruvian companies.
