- Representatives from the JNE, Reniec, the ONPE, the Comptroller, the Ombudsman and party agents signed the acts documenting the puesta a cero and the drill to register institutional oversight.
- At the same time, ONPE held a nationwide in-person training day for polling-station staff and reminded participants of continuous courses and materials available on the ONPEduca platform.
- ONPE says these steps are meant to reduce technical risk and strengthen transparency for the October 4 elections, which could increase public confidence and lower the chance of processing delays on election night.
