Overview
- The ONPE held a public sorteo on Friday, July 24, and published provisional lists that citizens can check with their DNI at https://consultaelectoral.onpe.gob.pe.
- The operation covers about 89,935 mesas and roughly 809,000–817,000 selected titulars and suplentes drawn from a processed roll of some 26.3 million eligible electors.
- Provisional lists are open to tachas for three business days; admitted challenges must include supporting documents and are sent to the Jurado Electoral Especial for resolution before final lists are released.
- Selection used computerized filters to prioritize electors under 65 with higher education and no disabilities and excluded people who served in the recent general elections as well as candidates, electoral staff, PNP, Armed Forces and Ministerio Público personnel.
- ONPE scheduled national in‑person trainings for September 20 and 27; members who complete the full duty receive S/165 and a paid day off while nonattendance carries a S/275 fine that can block administrative procedures and is payable through Pagos en Línea or Banco de la Nación.
