ONPE Completes Primary Kits, Sets Nov. 20 Deployment Ahead of Nov. 30 Affiliate Vote

Standardized materials with STAE aim to cut errors and accelerate results reporting.

Overview

  • More than 100 standardized electoral items are finished and stored in Lurín for distribution to ODPEs starting Nov. 20.
  • Each polling table will use the STAE system to register events, print official records and transmit results from voting sites to reduce observed tally sheets.
  • ODPE Ica posted 18 voting sites with 25 tables for the Nov. 30 primaries, expecting 3,691 affiliates to vote, including 1,011 from PAP and 2,680 from Renovación Popular.
  • ODPE Lima Centro trained over 100 Renovación Popular table members on their roles and on operating STAE ahead of the affiliate-based selection.
  • Lima and Callao will host 95 tables across 49 locations with more than 25,000 affiliates expected, and security will be provided by the National Police and Armed Forces.
