ONP Starts November Pension Payouts for 770,000 Retirees as Government Transfers Funds for 198

Payments follow a staggered schedule, with a MEF transfer from the Foreign Ministry covering pensions plus the Christmas bonus for 198 DL 20530 retirees.

Overview

  • The ONP began payouts today for beneficiaries under DL 19990, serving more than 770,000 retirees nationwide on a schedule by first letter of paternal surname.
  • The schedule is A–C on Friday Nov. 7, D–L on Monday Nov. 10, M–Q on Tuesday Nov. 11, and R–Z on Wednesday Nov. 12, with payments available at banks, ATMs, and agents.
  • More than 65,000 pensioners from other regimes (20530, 18846, entrusted pensions, Special Fishing Regime, and Complementary Occupational Risk Insurance) are slated to be paid on Thursday Nov. 13.
  • A transfer of S/446,014 from the Foreign Ministry to the ONP, validated by the MEF, finances November–December pensions and the Christmas bonus for 198 retirees under DL 20530.
  • Under current rules the maximum SNP pension is S/893 nominal (S/857.28 after a 4% EsSalud deduction), eligibility requires age 65 and 20 years of contributions, and ONP offers virtual processing with a 30‑business‑day decision or a provisional pension if delayed.
