Overview
- The ONP reports that more than 60,000 people have accessed a proportional pension within the National Pension System.
- The benefit pays S/300 per month for 10 to under 15 years of contributions and S/400 for 15 to under 20 years, with health coverage included.
- A contributory loan can cover missing months: up to 12 to reach the 10–<15 bracket, 24 for 15–<20, and 36 to complete 20 years, with repayment capped at 20% of proportional and 30% of full pensions.
- When employer records are incomplete, affiliates may validate up to six years of contributions through a sworn declaration supported by proof such as IDs, pay slips or certifications.
- Applications can be filed online at onpvirtual.pe or at ONP service centers nationwide, and an ONP executive said these measures are expanding access to permanent pension and medical protection.
