Online Sleuths Help Crack Jan. 6 Case Nearly 2 Years Later

Peter G. Moloney, co-owner of Moloney Family Funeral Homes, was arrested for assaulting police officers and journalists during the Capitol riot.
Moloney sprayed insecticide at officers and grabbed cameras from members of the press.
Online sleuths known as "Sedition Hunters" identified Moloney as a participant nearly 700 days ago but he was only just now arrested.
The Sedition Hunters have identified hundreds of additional Jan. 6 participants who have not yet been arrested.
Moloney was known online as #BlackBonoHelmet.
