- Online registration is live at ongcindia.com from October 16 to November 6, 2025.
- Vacancies are distributed across six sectors: Northern 165, Mumbai 569, Western 856, Eastern 458, Southern 322, and Central 253.
- Eligibility requires ages 18–24 as of November 6, 2025, with qualifications specified by trade across degree, diploma, ITI, and 10th/12th levels.
- Selection is based on qualifying-exam marks with no written test, older candidates win ties, and any canvassing leads to rejection.
- Training lasts 12 months with monthly stipends of ₹12,300 (graduate), ₹10,900 (diploma), ₹10,560 (ITI 2-year), ₹9,600 (ITI 1-year), and ₹8,200 (10th/12th), and results are scheduled for November 26 on ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in.
