Overview
- The OnePlus 12R is receiving Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 that adds the Trinity Engine, Mind Space and Mind Assistant, smoother UI animations, smarter Photos tools, and upgrades to AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Translate, AI Writer, and AI VoiceScribe, plus network and privacy tweaks.
- OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 for the OnePlus 15 (about 600MB) improves Circle to Search activation, speeds camera launch, fixes photo and video color issues, boosts face unlock success, and refines overheating handling and overall stability.
- The OnePlus 12 is getting OxygenOS 16.0.1.300 with the November 2025 security patch, faster app launches from the home screen, a resizable Flux theme clock, sunrise/sunset and combined weather–UV widgets, automatic straightening in Photos, and quicker virus scans in Phone Manager.
- Both the OnePlus 12 and 15 gain a refreshed AI LinkBoost Network Engine interface that shows optimization metrics, issues real-time acceleration alerts in poor conditions, and lets users test speed, latency, and upload/download status.
- All updates are distributing in batches starting in India, and availability will vary by device and region as the rollout progresses.
