One-Year-Old Critically Injured in Melbourne Head-On Crash

A family of six was hospitalized after a collision in Deer Park, with police arresting a driver on suspicion of dangerous driving.

A head-on collision occurred around 12:20am on Station Road in Deer Park, Melbourne's west, involving two vehicles.
A one-year-old girl sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital in critical condition.
Five others from the same vehicle, including three adults and two children, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were also hospitalized.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 22-year-old man from Niddrie, was uninjured and arrested at the scene for suspected dangerous driving causing serious injury.
Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash to contact Crime Stoppers as investigations continue.
