• Liam Payne died on Oct. 16, 2024 after a third‑floor fall at the CasaSur Palermo hotel; the autopsy cited polytraumas and toxicology detected cocaine, tusi, benzodiazepines, crack, ketamine and MDMA.
• Braian Nahuel Paiz and Ezequiel David Pereyra remain in preventive detention and are set to face an oral trial for repeated, paid supply of narcotics, an offense carrying 4–15 years in prison.
