One Piece English Dub Catches Up to Japanese Version After 18 Years

The milestone marks the completion of the largest English dubbing effort in anime history, involving nearly 1,500 actors and crew members.

The English dub of One Piece has officially caught up to the Japanese version with the release of episodes from the Egghead Part-1 arc, streaming March 18 on Crunchyroll.
This achievement concludes an 18-year journey, starting in 2007 when the English dub began over 300 episodes behind the Japanese series.
ADR Director Emily Fajardo credited the milestone to the dedication of nearly 1,500 voice actors and crew members, calling it the largest dubbing effort in anime history.
The Japanese version of One Piece will resume its weekly schedule on April 6 with the second half of the Egghead arc after a six-month hiatus.
Netflix has completed filming for season 2 of its live-action One Piece adaptation, though a release date has not yet been announced.
