Overview

• Emergency crews responded to 2 Chaffee Lane around 2:30 a.m. after multiple 911 calls.
• Firefighters encountered heavy fire at the front of the home, knocked it down from outside, then made an interior attack and searched for occupants.
• Crews found fire in multiple rooms and discovered a deceased person in a bedroom.
• No other injuries were reported, and officials said the individual found was the only known occupant.
