One-Off 1998 Lamborghini Pregunta Heads to Zoute Concours Auction With €2.5m–€3.5m Estimate

Its documented provenance from Heuliez to Museo Lamborghini underpins its appeal to serious collectors.

Overview

  • Broad Arrow Auctions will offer the car on October 10 in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, with in-person, telephone and online bidding and expects strong global interest.
  • Created with French coachbuilder Carrosserie Heuliez and designed by Marc Deschamps, the jet-inspired concept features carbon-fiber bodywork, a canopy-like greenhouse, scissor doors and advanced cabin tech.
  • Built on the Diablo platform, it uses a 5.7-liter V12 with a five-speed manual, with quoted performance of 0–62 mph in 3.9 seconds and a 209 mph top speed.
  • The Pregunta debuted at the 1998 Paris Motor Show, later passed from Heuliez to a private collector in 2008, received a Polo Storico certificate in 2014 and was displayed at the Museo Lamborghini after heritage servicing.
  • Positioned as the final Lamborghini concept developed before Audi ownership, the car represents a pivotal moment between Chrysler-era commissioning and the Volkswagen Group transition.
