Overview

  • Announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the single-player title comes from Ghostrunner studio One More Level and new publisher Lyrical Games, accompanied by a reveal trailer.
  • Set in an alternate 19th-century Eastern Europe, the game follows William, a resurrected Grande Armée soldier infused with the corrupting Nephtoglobin plague.
  • Design marries first-person Soulslike systems—parries, dodges, tough bosses and lantern checkpoints—with Metroidvania-style exploration and a character stat tree.
  • Combat features melee weapons, a scarce-ammo pistol for weak points, dual-wielding options, and supernatural abilities called Transmutations.
  • A closed playtest is planned for the coming weeks with sign-ups on the official site, a playable demo is at Gamescom 2025, and launch is targeted for 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
