Overview
- The fire was reported about 5 a.m. at 28 Woodworth Road in Needham, a dead-end off South Street.
- Three residents were inside; two escaped, and one person is unaccounted for, officials said.
- Active flames have prevented crews from entering the home, and officials expect operations to last much of the day.
- Roughly 75 firefighters answered a three-alarm call, with aid from at least seven nearby departments including Westwood, Newton, Brookline and Dedham.
