One Killed, One Critically Wounded in Louisville’s Camp Taylor Shooting

- LMPD responded shortly before midnight to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Orchard Avenue in the Camp Taylor neighborhood.
- Officers found a man on the ground in the 4200 block of Poplar Level Road with multiple torso wounds, and he was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition.
- Investigators located a nearby vehicle that had been struck by gunfire and discovered a second victim inside who was pronounced dead at the scene.
- LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting.
