One Killed, Five Injured in Northeast Washington D.C. Shooting

Police are actively searching for two suspects believed to have fled in a light blue Toyota sedan after opening fire in the Carver Langston neighborhood.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and five others, including two children, were wounded in the incident.
The shooting occurred on Wednesday evening around 6 p.m., with suspects reportedly firing into a crowd.
Victims included two boys, aged 9 and 12, along with three adults; all injuries except for the fatality were non-life-threatening.
