One in Five Young Americans Believes Holocaust is a Myth, Poll Finds

Findings Spark Concern Amid Rising Anti-Semitism on US University Campuses

One in five young Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 believe the Holocaust is a myth, according to a recent poll conducted by The Economist/YouGov.
Only half of the young Americans surveyed are convinced that the Holocaust definitely happened.
The poll also revealed that young people are nearly five times more likely to believe that Jews have too much power in the USA than those aged 65 or over.
The findings come amid growing accusations of anti-Semitism on US university campuses since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
Concerned parents are overhauling their children’s applications to Ivy League universities in response to some university leaders refusing to condemn calling for the genocide of Jews as hate speech.
