One Dead, Two Injured in Englewood Parking Lot Shooting

Gunfire erupted in a store parking lot on West 71st Street, leaving one man dead and two others wounded, police report no arrests.

A 35-year-old man was killed after being shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center
A 38-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and remains in serious condition at the same hospital.
A 34-year-old man was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm at St. Bernard Hospital and released.
The victims were standing in the parking lot when the shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police have not made any arrests and Area 1 detectives are investigating the incident.
