One Dead as Tourist Speedboat With 55 Aboard Sinks After Head-On Crash Near Phi Phi

Authorities have opened an investigation focusing on speed, visibility, navigation on the busy PhuketPhi Phi route.

  • The Korawich Marine 888 struck the fishing trawler Pichai Samut 1 near Koh Gai on Sunday morning, tearing off the speedboat’s bow before it overturned and sank.
