- The National Board of Review named the film Best Film and gave it four more prizes: Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actor (Benicio del Toro) and Breakthrough Performance (Chase Infiniti).
- NBR said trophies will be presented on January 16 at a ceremony in New York.
- Sight and Sound ranked the film first in its 2025 poll, which is voted on by more than 100 international critics, with Ryan Coogler’s Sinners placing second.
- Anderson reacted to the Sight and Sound honor with a jubilant statement, calling the recognition “amazing” and adding, “F**k yeah!”
- The film returns to UK screens on 70mm at the BFI IMAX on December 12, and it is based on Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland with a cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn.
