• Ondo Global Markets is live with on-chain access to more than 100 U.S. stocks and ETFs such as Apple, Nvidia and QQQ, available to qualified investors outside the U.S. in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
• The equity tokens are fully backed by the underlying securities and use traditional exchange liquidity for minting and redemptions to preserve economic parity.
• Trading operates 24 hours a day during trading days with tokens transferable across wallets, exchanges and DeFi protocols, and fractional purchases start at $1.
• The launch uses Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure and is supported by partners including BitGo, Ledger and Chainlink, while Bitget and Bitget Wallet have enabled trading for eligible non-U.S. users.
• Ondo plans multi-chain support on Solana and BNB Chain and aims to expand to more than 1,000 tokenized assets by year-end, with the ONDO token showing intraday gains around the rollout.
