Onana to Play for Manchester United Before Joining Africa Cup of Nations
Agreement with Cameroon Football Federation Allows Onana to Participate in Premier League and FA Cup Games
- Andre Onana, Manchester United's goalkeeper, will be available for the Premier League game against Tottenham on January 14, 24 hours before Cameroon start their Africa Cup of Nations campaign against Guinea.
- United and Onana have reached an agreement with the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) to delay his release for the tournament.
- Onana will also be involved in the FA Cup third round tie at Wigan on Monday before Spurs’ visit to Old Trafford.
- Onana returned to Manchester on Wednesday after spending time in Paris following the 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
- United's new minority investor, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, met players and staff at Carrington for the first time on Wednesday.
