  • At Dediapada, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for schemes exceeding Rs 9,700 crore, including Grih Pravesh for 100,000 homes under PM‑JANMAN and DA‑JAGUA, 42 Eklavya Model Residential Schools worth about Rs 1,900 crore, foundations for 50 more schools over Rs 2,320 crore, 228 multi‑purpose centres, and a Govind Guru chair for tribal languages.
  • The rollout featured 250 buses for 14 tribal districts, foundations for 748 km of new roads, a Centre of Competence at Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh, and a Tribal Research Institute building in Imphal for preservation of culture and heritage.
  • Modi offered prayers at the Devmogra temple, held a roadshow in Dediapada, garlanded a statue of Birsa Munda, and the programme included a theatrical presentation on Munda’s life livestreamed across 23 tribal talukas in Gujarat.
  • In his address, the Prime Minister said previous Congress governments neglected tribal communities and overlooked their role in the freedom struggle, highlighting budget increases, new museums, language initiatives, and greater representation of tribal leaders as course correction.
