Omega Releases New Version of Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 Watch

The $14,300 timepiece features a detailed lunar surface design and a depiction of NASA's Saturn 5 rocket.

Omega has released a new version of its Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 watch, originally launched in 2018 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 8 mission.
The watch features a highly detailed, laser-ablated relief of the moon’s surface on the blackened main plate and bridges, which also form the dial.
The front of the movement depicts the lunar surface as seen from Earth, while the reverse portrays the dark side only seen by the Apollo 8 astronauts.
The watch also includes a small-seconds hand that depicts NASA’s famous Saturn 5 rocket in great detail.
The new Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 is priced at $14,300.
