Omaha Forward Deng Mayar Drowns at Blackridge Reservoir

Herriman police are investigating the incident after rescue crews used a submersible robot to locate his body late Saturday night.

  • The University of Nebraska–Omaha confirmed that 22-year-old forward Deng Mayar died in a drowning incident at Blackridge Reservoir.
  • The Herriman Police Department opened an investigation into the circumstances and ordered the reservoir closed until further notice.
