Olympic Rings Adorn Eiffel Tower as Paris Prepares for 2024 Games

The iconic monument now features a recycled steel display marking 50 days until the Summer Olympics.

The rings, each 9 meters in diameter, are made from recycled French steel.
Installed on the south side of the Eiffel Tower, the display overlooks the Seine River.
Beach volleyball matches will be held at the foot of the tower during the Games.
The Olympic and Paralympic medals incorporate pieces of the Eiffel Tower.
The rings will be illuminated nightly with 100,000 LED bulbs through the Paralympics.
