The neighbor, who captured the incident on a surveillance camera, reported it to the police, leading to an investigation.
Police initially visited Hambüchen's old residence, which was unoccupied due to his ongoing move, but he later contacted authorities to provide his new address.
Hambüchen publicly apologized, explaining that the improper disposal occurred during a house move and acknowledging it was a mistake.
He accepted responsibility and committed to paying a fine, which could range from €150 to €2,500 under local regulations.
