Guillaume Cizeron, 30, is returning to competitive ice dancing after retiring three months ago with former partner Gabriella Papadakis.
Cizeron is teaming up with Canadian skater Laurence Fournier Beaudry, 32, with training beginning in January 2025 in Montreal.
The decision to return was motivated by Cizeron's feeling that his career was unfinished despite his Olympic gold and five world titles.
Papadakis and Cizeron officially ended their partnership in December 2024, with Papadakis recently performing in a groundbreaking all-female duo at a gala event.
