• Christian Kukuk confirmed he will depart Ludger Beerbaum’s Riesenbeck stable at the end of 2025 to become self-employed in show jumping.
• He credited Beerbaum with teaching him everything in sport and described the four-time Olympic champion’s mentorship as invaluable.
• Beerbaum called Kukuk the stable’s flagship talent and said they will continue collaborating in some capacity after the split.
• Earlier this summer Kukuk and his US-born wife, Veronica Tracy, relocated to Münster and welcomed their first child in March.
• The rider plans to spend early 2026 training and competing in Florida as he builds his own stable operation.
