Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel limitations, Culpo discarded an initial plan for an Italian wedding and instead chose her home state, Rhode Island, for the venue.

Although Culpo was initially unsure of her wedding dress, she mentioned in an interview that she has been on a bridal movie kick and regularly searches on Pinterest for dream dress inspiration.
The couple's plans center around family, both being from large families themselves. They previously held their engagement party in Rhode Island, and Culpo expressed that the wedding will focus on their families.
