Ole Miss defeated Temple 77-76 in a closely contested game, with the winning points scored by Allen Flanigan from two free throws with just 9.2 seconds left.
Despite being shorthanded without key starters Jahlil White and Steve Settle III, Temple managed to lead by one point late in the game and stayed within 10 points throughout.
Hysier Miller led Temple in scoring with 21 points, while Allen Flanigan led Ole Miss with 26 points, seven assists, and eight rebounds.
Temple took its only lead with 1:39 remaining, but Ole Miss regained the lead after Flanigan was fouled and scored the decisive free throws.
Temple will return home to face Big 5 opponent La Salle next Wednesday.
