Overview
- Emma Rice’s stage adaptation of North by Northwest will make its North American premiere at the Old Globe July 3–Aug. 2, 2026, opening July 9, in a co-production with Emma Rice Company, Kay & McLean Productions, Jonathan Church Theatre Productions and by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.
- The season opens Feb. 7–March 8 with a new version of Hedda Gabler by Erin Cressida Wilson, directed by Barry Edelstein and starring Katie Holmes.
- August Wilson’s Fences runs April 4–May 3 directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, with Kim’s Convenience set for May 15–June 14 and a yet-to-be-announced new musical slated for Sept. 6–Oct. 11.
- Two world premieres arrive in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre: Fiasco Theater’s Bartleby (Feb. 20–March 15) and Amy Berryman’s Alien Girls (April 18–May 10), alongside Summer Shakespeare titles Measure for Measure (June 14–July 12) and Much Ado About Nothing (Aug. 2–30).
