Overview

• Nazli Merthoca, 24, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of manslaughter over the death of her three-month-old daughter, Kaylani.
• Her partner, Herbert Kalanzi, 35, was cleared of murder, manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of a child.
• A postmortem and hospital scans found blunt force trauma with injuries a forensic pathologist said could only result from severe shaking.
