Oktoberfest 2025: Record Beer Prices and Full Program Finalized for Sept. 20–Oct. 5

Final price lists confirm higher costs across tents, rides and food.

Overview

  • The 190th edition runs on Munich’s Theresienwiese from September 20 to October 5 with about 40 tents and more than 100 rides and attractions.
  • Beer costs range from €14.50 to €15.80 per Maß in most tents, with many large tents at €15.40, Augustiner at €14.50, Münchner Stubn at €15.80 and Weißbier in Kufflers Weinzelt at €17.80.
  • Non-alcoholic drinks average €10.95 per liter for water, €12.48 for Spezi and €12.11 for lemonade, a half roast chicken typically costs €12–€15, and ten public fountains offer free refills.
  • Table reservations are officially free but commonly tied to minimum consumption of about two Maß plus half a Hendl per person, totaling roughly €350–€450 for a table of eight to ten, with savings available on Tuesday family days and at the Oide Wiesn where entry is about €4 and children up to 14 are free.
  • Accommodation in Munich is markedly pricier during the festival, with examples showing weekend hotel rates several times higher than late October and some budget options rising up to ninefold.
