Oklahoma Father Arrested for Fleeing Scene of Fatal Car Crash

Elliot Binney, 41, was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a car crash that resulted in the death of his 16-year-old daughter, Shelby Binney, and injured his wife and two other children.
Binney was driving at approximately 70 mph in the rain and passed several cars in a no-passing zone before the accident occurred.
Police found an open bottle of vodka at the scene, and Binney admitted to drinking while driving. His wife also reported that they were arguing before the crash.
Binney has a history of traffic violations, including three previous charges for leaving the scene of an accident.
Binney was released on a $102,100 bond and faces charges of leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death, first-degree manslaughter, and passing a vehicle in a no-passing zone.
