• Officers attempted to stop a vehicle near Southwest 44th Street and Walker Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday after learning the driver had received narcotics.
• During a tactical vehicle intervention near Interstate 240 and Santa Fe Avenue, the suspect’s car collided with a separate patrol unit.
• Two officers sustained minor injuries, were taken to a hospital, and were treated and released.
• The driver fled on foot with narcotics on his person, was subdued with a Taser, and was taken into custody without hospital transport.
