OHSAA Expands Divisions for Fall Sports, Including Soccer and Volleyball

The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced new divisional alignments for fall sports, aiming to create more balanced competition.

Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has expanded the number of divisions in soccer and volleyball starting fall 2024.
The expansion includes moving boys and girls soccer from three to five divisions and girls volleyball from four to seven divisions.
The changes are designed to address enrollment disparities and enhance competitive balance across schools.
Member schools have the opportunity to vote in May on whether to allow schools to opt for competing in higher divisions.
Regional alignments and tournament qualifications have also been adjusted to accommodate the new divisions.
