Carter becomes the sixth four-star defensive lineman in Ohio State's top-ranked 2025 recruiting class.

Jarquez Carter chose Ohio State over Florida, Penn State, Central Florida, Miami, and Florida State.
Carter, from Newberry, Florida, is ranked No. 42 among defensive linemen nationally.
He recorded 67 tackles, 37 tackles-for-loss, nine sacks, and 15 hurries last season.
Ohio State's 2025 defensive line class now includes six four-star prospects.
