Ohio State Brings on Former NFL Coach Joe Philbin in Consulting Role

Ohio State has hired former NFL coach Joe Philbin as an offensive assistant.
Philbin brings experience and knowledge to an already talented offensive staff.
He will not be coaching players on the field but will help coaches behind the scenes and provide input on game plans.
Philbin's experience in the NFL is mostly along the offensive line, which is one of the Buckeyes' major questions this offseason.
Philbin did a solid job as the Cowboys' offensive line coach, helping several players improve and exceed expectations.
