Evan Mahaffey and Roddy Gayle Jr. each scored 16 points to help Ohio State beat Penn State 79-67, breaking a three-game losing streak for the Buckeyes.
The win gave Chris Holtmann his 250th career victory and his 136th win in seven seasons as head coach of the Buckeyes.
Penn State, which leads the Big Ten in forcing turnovers, was only able to force six turnovers from Ohio State.
Ohio State built a lead of as much as 23 points, but Penn State managed to claw back to within nine points.
Four Buckeyes scored in double figures for the first time since the Dec. 21 win against New Orleans.
