Ohio State Bolsters Championship Odds with Addition of Five-Star Transfer Caleb Downs

Despite losing key player Marvin Harrison Jr., the team sees a boost with the addition of Downs and All-SEC sophomore running back Quinshon Judkins.

Five-star transfer safety Caleb Downs, who led Alabama with 107 tackles in 2023, has chosen to join Ohio State, boosting the team's championship odds.
Downs' decision came as a surprise as he was expected to follow his former position coach at Alabama to Georgia.
Ohio State has also added All-SEC sophomore running back Quinshon Judkins, who had 3,006 yards from scrimmage and 34 total touchdowns in two seasons at Ole Miss.
Despite losing their best player, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State has several players returning who were expected to be drafted in the first or second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The only question for Ohio State is at quarterback, with 2023 starter Kyle McCord transferring to Syracuse and former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard joining the team.
