Ohio National Guardsman Charged with Multiple Counts of Rape

Steven Vicario, a lieutenant colonel, faces serious allegations involving a minor, with his trial set for June.

Steven Vicario, an Ohio National Guardsman, has been charged with three counts of rape and additional felonies including gross sexual imposition and tampering with evidence.
The alleged incidents, involving a 14-year-old girl, occurred between October 2022 and November 2023.
Vicario was arrested on April 18 and is currently held on a $500,000 bond.
He pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a jury trial beginning June 25.
Vicario has been placed on leave without pay from his position as a mobilization officer at the Joint Force headquarters.
