Ohio medical board revokes license of plastic surgeon over patient harm from livestreamed surgeries on TikTok

Dr. Katherine Grawe, known as Dr. Roxy, had her medical license permanently revoked in Ohio for livestreaming surgeries on TikTok.
The State Medical Board determined Dr. Grawe failed to meet standards of care and harmed patients during livestreamed procedures.
At least three patients experienced severe complications after surgeries performed by Dr. Grawe.
The board had previously warned Dr. Grawe about ethics concerns regarding patient privacy on social media.
Dr. Grawe was also fined $4,500 for substandard care and can no longer practice medicine in Ohio.
