Ohio BCI Releases Age-Progressed Image in 2004 Disappearance of Michael Hodge

Investigators are using a public bulletin with an age progression to prompt tips.

Overview

  • The image depicts what Hodge could look like at about 61 years old in 2025.
  • Hodge was last seen on March 6, 2004, riding a 10‑speed bicycle near the 4000 block of West 172nd Street and Puritas Avenue in Cleveland.
  • At the time he was about 5 feet 10 inches and 140 pounds with red hair, blue eyes, four missing front teeth, tattoos including a skull with a long tongue on his right forearm, and a scar on his left wrist.
  • BCI issued a public bulletin with additional images and highlighted forensic tools such as a forensic artist’s reconstructions and Project LINK for DNA matching.
  • Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost urged anyone with information to contact BCI’s Criminal Intelligence Unit at 855‑BCI‑OHIO (855‑224‑6446).
