- Nova Scotia’s Long Lake wildfire in the Annapolis Valley remains out of control at more than 32 square kilometres.
- Provincial crews in Nova Scotia are reinforced by 62 firefighters from Ontario, 42 local volunteers, six helicopters, six planes and about 30 heavy equipment operators.
- Environment Canada reports Erin has weakened to a post-tropical cyclone located 652 kilometres south of St. John’s with maximum sustained winds near 139 kilometres an hour.
- Helicopters continue aerial suppression on Newfoundland and Labrador’s Kingston wildfire in Conception Bay North with provincial crews supported by firefighters from Ontario and British Columbia, Canadian Armed Forces personnel and volunteers.
