Officials Set for UFC 320 Title Fights as Dvalishvili Targets Knockout vs. Sandhagen

Veteran referees are set with familiar judges returning, underscoring continuity from the first AnkalaevPereira meeting.

Overview

  • UFC 320 takes place Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira headlining and Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen as the co-main event.
  • Herb Dean will referee AnkalaevPereira II, with judges Sal D’Amato, Derek Cleary, and Chris Lee assigned by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
  • D’Amato and Lee also scored the first AnkalaevPereira fight, with D’Amato turning in a 49-46 card and the other judges scoring it 48-47 for Ankalaev.
  • Marc Goddard will oversee Dvalishvili–Sandhagen, with Mike Bell, Ben Cartlidge, and Eric Colon judging, while remaining assignments will be finalized during fight week.
  • Dvalishvili says he is looking for a knockout as he emphasizes striking, and coach John Wood describes his camp progress as “almost jaw-dropping,” noting a shift toward finishing after a 2025 submission win and his last KO in 2021.
