• After deputies were called to a fight at the Arts and Technology Academy of Pontiac ceremony on Tuesday they learned of a Snapchat message warning of a planned shooting.
• Investigators recovered two loaded firearms each equipped with a high-capacity magazine stashed under vehicles in the parking lot.
• Officials arrested 19-year-old Deahveon Shamar-James Whaley on Friday; investigators are searching for 20-year-old Jamarion Jaryante Hardiman.
• Hardiman is currently on probation for a weapons offense; both he and Whaley are believed to have prior violent and weapons-related records.
• Sheriff Michael Bouchard urged the public to report any tips about Hardiman’s whereabouts to help ensure community safety.
